RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT CLONAKILTY

Description: This project was completed in three phases. Phase 1 was the restoration of an original Georgian house conversion of a coach house into two residential units. Phase 2 involved the design and construction of 9 no. of 2- bedroom houses in a walled garden of 0.12 hectares. The houses are clustered around a landscaped courtyard and contrast with the restoration of the Georgian building. Phase 3 consisted of 11. no. of 2-storey 4 bedroom houses in an L-shaped formation on a 0.34 hectare site. The cedar cladding reflects the bark colour of the very rare Myrtle Trees which were preserved on site.
