Description: This project is an extension to Clonakilty Town Centre. The scheme consists of a bank, an eight storeys hotel, offices, retail units, live/work units, a creche, 42 no. houses and 104 no. apartments. The scheme extends the existing grain of the town and opens up the town to the water front. A new town square is formed at the junction of the exiting street and the new scheme. A boardwalk extends along the water front connecting the town square to a water basin and beyond. The scheme is designed taking the southerly aspect of the site into account and maximising panoramic views over the water.
